Profile photos are blurred at first and progressively unblur through 4 conversation phases: Opener (0–3 messages, heavy blur), Vibe-check (3–7, light blur), Intent-align (7–12, nearly clear), and Fully Revealed (12+ messages, private album unlocks). You can't skip phases — they advance through genuine conversation depth, not message count alone.

Your ❤️ profile is your everyday self — bio, interests, photos you'd show anyone. Your 🔥 profile is for Hookup mode only — separate bio, tags, and photos including a private album. They never share content and never appear in the wrong context. Switching between them is explicit and intentional. 🔥 mode requires a Pro subscription.

Trust score (0–100) is computed from real behavior signals: verified selfie (+30 points), account age (+5 to +25 depending on how long), reply rate above 50% (+15), no reports in 90 days (+10), confirmed meets (+10, capped). Reports against you cost -10 each. You start at 30. Buying Pro has no effect on trust score — only actions do.

The web app (join-sync.info) is accessible anywhere. However, the beta is focused on Bangkok — you'll find the most active users there. We're expanding to a second city after the Bangkok beta stabilises. Sign up to be notified when we launch in your city.

Account deletion starts a 7-day cooling-off period during which your account is hidden. After 7 days, all your data is permanently deleted: profile, photos, conversations, settings. Messages you sent in other users' conversations are anonymised (shown as "[deleted user]") rather than deleted, to preserve the integrity of others' chat history. We don't keep your data for advertising or training after deletion.

The AI Wingman is powered by Claude (Anthropic) and lives in an expandable orb panel in every chat. It reads the conversation, the other person's profile and tags, and your current intent mode, then suggests openers, quick replies, or escalation prompts. It never speaks for you — it only suggests. Free users get 5 AI messages per day; Pro users get unlimited.

Yes, and we specifically design for this. Closeted users can: set profile visibility to Private (no discovery without approval), use Anonymous map mode (ghost pin, no identity), blur their location up to 500m, keep ❤️ and 🔥 profiles completely separate, and disable read receipts (Pro). We don't surface users to their contacts or suggest them to people based on phone numbers. A closeted user's privacy is treated as the highest-stakes scenario in every privacy decision we make.

Settings → Account → Manage subscription → Cancel. On iOS, cancellation goes through Apple subscriptions in your device settings. On Android, through Google Play. We don't have a cancellation penalty and we don't hide the cancel button. You keep Pro features until the end of your billing period.

Email appeals@join-sync.info with your account email and the reason you believe the ban was in error. We review all appeals within 5 business days. If the ban is upheld, we'll tell you why (within the limits of confidentiality). If overturned, your account is restored with an apology.
